Tecno has launched the Pova 5 Pro, featuring a distinctive RGB LED arrangement on the rear panel. The design seems to draw inspiration from the Nothing Phone 2, but it sets itself apart with a distinct implementation. The Pova 5 Pro showcases a triangular configuration of a 9-color RGB setup on the back, providing users with innovative multi-color backlit technology for a personalized experience unlike anything else available.
However, it’s important to note that the RGB lighting on the back might not appeal to everyone. In such cases, users have the option to either turn it off or apply a protective case.
Beyond its attention-grabbing design, the device packs an impressive range of specifications. The rear of the phone houses a 50MP primary camera alongside a 0.08MP depth sensor. Users can record up to 2K video at 30 frames per second using the rear camera. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera offers the ability to record at 1080P and 30fps. This camera is situated within a central punch-hole cutout on a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Running under the hood, the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It boasts 8GB of RAM and comes with storage options of either 128 GB or 256 GB. The software experience is built on the foundation of Android 13-based HiOS 13. Alongside its array of features, the phone integrates a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a USB-C port, as well as dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Pova 5 Pro will be offered in two color variants: Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy. However, the details regarding pricing and availability are yet to be disclosed. Stay connected with us for further updates on these aspects.
