Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Set to Debut with Three Powerful Models in Late 2023

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is the talk of the town as reports suggest that it is set to launch later this year. Following the success of the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Samsung is now gearing up to introduce three new tablet models – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Excitingly, all three models are expected to offer both Wi-Fi only and 5G-enabled variants, providing users with a wider range of connectivity options.

GalaxyClub’s recent report suggests that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S9 series in the second half of 2023. The lineup will comprise the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra models, succeeding the Galaxy Tab S8 series that made its debut last year. The report also hints at the model numbers of the purported devices. The Galaxy Tab S9 may have SM-X710 (Wi-Fi), SM-X716B (5G Global), and SM-X718U (5G US) model numbers. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9+ is expected to come with SM-X810 (Wi-Fi), SM-X816B (5G Global), and SM-X818U (5G US) model numbers. Lastly, the model numbers SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), and SM-X918U (5G US) could potentially be associated with the Galaxy Tab S9.

Rumors are rife that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 series is in the works, and while the tech giant has remained tight-lipped about it, previous reports have hinted that the new tablets could run on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Additionally, they are expected to boast an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, promising durability and reliability to users.

Last year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S8 series in February, with prices starting at Rs. 58,999 for the Galaxy Tab S8, Rs. 74,999 for the Galaxy Tab S8+, and a whopping Rs. 1,08,999 for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S8 series boasts a dual rear camera setup, with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, accompanied by an LED flash. The vanilla model comes with an 8,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra pack 10,090mAh and 11,200mAh batteries, respectively, promising long hours of use.
