Vivo made a significant splash in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of its newest offerings, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, on January 4. These smartphones feature MediaTek’s potent Dimensity 9300 SoC and showcase a robust IP68-rated build, ensuring water and dust resistance. Notably, the standout feature is their camera prowess, housing triple rear camera units co-engineered by Zeiss and powered by Vivo’s proprietary V2 chip for enhanced image processing.

In terms of pricing, the Vivo X100 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs. 89,999 for its exclusive variant, boasting 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, sporting a striking Asteroid Black finish. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 starts at Rs. 63,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option, with the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant priced at Rs. 69,999. The X100 offers color choices of Asteroid Black and Stargaze Blue.

Both these smartphones are currently available for pre-orders and are set to hit the market on January 11. Interested buyers can make their purchases through various channels, including Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and authorized retailers. Additionally, those pre-booking with specific bank cards have the opportunity to enjoy up to a 10 percent cashback.

The Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary Sony IMX920 VCS bionic main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP Zeiss super-telephoto camera with 100x clear zoom. For selfies, it features a 32MP front camera.
